We have trialed over a dozen varieties and currently grow six (5 hardneck and 1 softneck) that do very well in our northern climate. Our growing practices have always complied with organic standards, but we are now officially certified organic by MOSA! We utilize sustainable farming practices without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. This includes using cover crops and crop rotation. We grow our own mulch for use on our garlic and use only natural sources of fertility. Our goal is to enhance the integrity of our farm ecosystem through our management practices. We craft our braids by hand. Our pesto is prepared in a certified kitchen using our own garlic scapes.
