Chicks, ducklings, hatching eggs About Us Our love of poultry and waterfowl has brought our family farm to this level. We are NPIP and have a hatchery license with the state. A 9-3 form is provided for sales. Intrastate sales can be done online with the state with a form through their website. We are small scale and have many varieties of chickens in mostly small flocks with the business working in the summer months or approximately 5 months out of the year. The waterfowl flocks start up earlier and later than poultry as they are hardier in the weather. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) We use many types of good feed for our birds. We use plenty of scratch grains and ground feed with added kelp. Highlights this Month Muscovies are excellent for bug control. Muscovies are used to keep you garden free and clear of bugs without eating your crops. Muscovies will keep your gardens in good condition without using chemicals. Muscovies all add some natural manure back to the earth too. Muscovies like to eat flies too. |

Fresh farm eggs from a group of pullets. This would not be an isolated breed but from an assortment chickens that live together. This would be mostly brown eggs but a few white. Cockerals in this area include: Golden Wyndotte, Cuckoo Maran, Rhode Island Red. Respectively the hen breeds equal this and Black Australorp, Welsummer, Buff Orpington and Amercauna.

Fertile Duck Eggs from Quacking Ducks 18Ct

The eggs all come from large breed ducks that are from Saxony, Exhibit Rouens, Alyesbury and Silver Appleyard. The eggs aren't pure yet as the weather has held up the breeds being isolated into their areas which has begun but takes considerable time before considered full blooded. Eggs picked 2 - 3 times daily ...fresh being the utmost importance.
